Our Favorite BRZ Just Got BETTER!

It started with a message from Marcus—he had just wrapped up the new livery for his Subaru BRZ at Printing Yes and was eager to get some shots of the car under the city lights. With no hesitation, Dylan and I grabbed our gear and headed out for a last-minute photo and video session. The car, now sporting a striking new design, looked right at home against the urban backdrop, and we wasted no time capturing its first official debut.

The BRZ has always been Marcus’ test bed for ideas and go-to machine for street and track drifting. Built with an execution-first mentality and a commitment to the blueprint for style and usability, it’s a raw and responsive setup designed to drive well while still looking exciting enough to turn heads on a night out. With the fresh livery now complete, the car had even more presence than ever—bold colors and sharp graphics gave it an unmistakable look.

A few days after our first shoot, Marcus hit us up again with some more news: his friend Sunny had just finished wrapping his JZX100 Chaser in a matching livery, also done at Printing Yes. This called for another session, but this time, we switched up the setting. We headed to Fist Bump Filmworks, a new photo studio in Richmond, to capture both cars under the perfect lighting conditions.

It wasn’t just Marcus and Sunny’s cars making an appearance. Josh rolled up in his 1JZ-swapped Altezza, while Josh from Out of Love brought his SR20-swapped midnight purple S13, adding even more variety to the lineup. The energy was all there—laughs, conversations about builds, and the unmistakable sounds of turbocharged engines filling the space.

These fresh liveries were finished with intent. Marcus and Sunny had them done in anticipation of Recollection Auto Fashion, a drift event in Northern California that we’re planning to cover in a future video. It’s the kind of event where style meets skill, bringing together some of the highest-quality drift builds in the scene.

If this shoot was any indication of what’s to come, we’re in for some seriously cool content. Stay tuned—there’s more on the way.
