Two Wild Weeks in Japan: Jake’s Car Adventure Filmed in 4K with DJI Osmo.
If you’ve ever dreamed of exploring Japan’s vibrant car culture, Jake’s first solo video on the channel is a must-watch. Armed with our trusty DJI Osmo and joined by the crew from SerialNine, Jake spent two unforgettable weeks immersing himself in the best that Japan’s automotive and drift scenes have to offer.

Our DJI Osmo 4K camera was the perfect tool for capturing cinematic footage on the go. Compact, smooth, and ultra-clear, it allowed Jake to document everything from tight alleyways in Tokyo to roaring mountain roads under moonlight.

One of the first highlights of the trip was a visit to Toto House, a well-known garage and hub for Japanese custom car culture. Located outside of Tokyo, Toto House is famed for its clean builds, grassroots style, and support for up-and-coming drivers. Jake got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some incredible cars.
No Japan trip is complete without a bit of touge drifting, and Jake made sure not to miss it. Teaming up with some local friends, he ventured into the mountains for a night of drifting under the stars. With the DJI Osmo capturing the action, viewers get an up-close look at tight switchbacks, screaming tires, and high-skill driving that defines Japan’s underground drift scene.

Next up on the itinerary was Wekfest Japan, held annually in Nagoya. Known for its high standards and curated selection of builds, Wekfest brings together some of the cleanest, most stylish cars from all over Japan, and even a few international entries. Jake walked the entire show floor, capturing detailed footage of VIP builds, widebody time-attack machines, and some jaw-dropping paintwork. Whether you're into aggressive camber or OEM+ detail work, this event had something for every car enthusiast.

The trip wrapped up with a visit to DoriDore, an event focused on style-forward drifting. Think vintage wheels, period-correct aero, and a heavy emphasis on how a car looks while it slides. Held at a makeshift circuit at a mountain resort, DoriDore featured some of the most beautifully composed drift cars in Japan.
