Datsun 240z and Nissan 240sx Hangar Photoshoot.

In this episode, we take you behind the scenes of Dylan’s photoshoot for his friend Spencer’s Datsun Z car—the car that Dylan has been dreaming about shooting for the last year. The process that Dylan embarks in when planning a shoot like this is unique, it’s all about creating the same feeling that he gets from a daydream.

The inspiration for this shoot came from an interesting place: the hangar where Dylan wanted to do the shoot reminded him of the car selection menu in old NFS games. It’s no wonder he was inspired by it—the setting is absolutely perfect with the right amount of grit and some very unique lighting.

We even managed to sneak the S14 into the hangar for a few shots as well which created an interesting contrast compared to the Datsun. Both cars being made by the same manufacturer with a similar ethos of providing their driver with an exciting rear-wheel-drive platform helps draw a link between the two cars, but visually the generational designs of both cars shine, as you can see the era they were both built for without having to know.
