Huge Entry Drifting At Meihan Sportsland!
Leaving Kyoto, I knew I had to make a few stops before heading to Nara Park to bow at some deer. First on my list was TRA Kyoto, the creator of Rocket Bunny. Seeing the V1 Silvia S13 parked out front was a fun reminder of who I was when I had first begun my journey as a car enthusiast, and the shops in the surrounding area were also filled with interesting cars.
After bowing to my last deer in Nara, I was reminded that Meihan Sportsland, a famous drift track known for its huge entries into the first corner, was not that far away. I decided to take a shot and drop by, hoping that there might be a drift event happening. On the way to the track, I was surprised to see Kansai Service, another famous Japanese tuning shop that I had lusted over as a teenager, on the road to Meihan.
After a quick stop-in at Kansai Service, we carried on to Meihan and were ecstatic when we discovered that there was, in fact, a drift event happening and I just so happened to know some of the people driving.
