We Made The Moistboys Drift Our G35!

The Moistboys made the trip over from Small Wheels Island to visit us and have a fun-filled weekend, but instead we tormented them with our giant wheels. We began with a field trip to the Rudeboy Custom workshop on Friday night to see the new Cressida project they had in the works. When we returned to the shop afterward, Karly and Jake were there working on her Nissan Laurel, which got hit with a vehicle inspection notice. They spent the night working hard to undo all of the fun modifications Karly had done to her car so that it could pass inspection and be legal to drive on the roads once again.

The next day, we took a trip to Puerto Rico so we could safely drift our G35. We took advantage of the rainy weather, which allowed us to slide without using up too many tires. We then peer pressured Adam and Ben to try the car out for themselves and take it for a spin. Adam was initially very afraid of our enormous wheels, but in the end, he threw down some wonderful donuts. Ben also graced us with some elegant drifts. Overall, it was a successful drifting session.

After that, we met up with the rest of our friends and went to a hobby store where we perused through a vast selection of model cars. Then, we unpacked a few new steering wheels from Adam (that have now been added to the website!) before ending the night with a movie at the shop.

On Sunday, we said goodbye to our moist friends and went back to Rudeboy’s workshop to help him move his cars around for a photoshoot. It was really neat to see all of his cars parked beside each other as we lined them up to take photos for Popeye magazine in Japan.

It was a wonderful weekend, and we were glad that we got to see our dear friends again. Thank you to Adam and Ben from the Moistboys/Garage Tanoshi for coming to spend some time with us, it’s always a pleasure.
